She Knows 03:53
Have you seen her smile? It seems like it’s been there for a while And have you seen her eyes? They are smiling in disguise Have you seen her hair? It is attached in strings and moves from everywhere And have you seen her feet? They are floating in a surface, nine feet deep She travels on a stone Her head gives her direction She knows what she wants She needs no protection She knows She knows So go on with her She knows what she wants She lives by her soul She knows where she’s going to But has no goal She sees behind you And feels within She has a drive That makes her alive That makes her, makes her, makes her Fly… So go on with her

Blum, Blum Blum Blum was as sideways born dog with yellow stripes and a purple hat. He sat every day on the stone next to the big old, big old willow tree. Blum was a sideways born dog, yellow strips, grey points, a purple hat. He sat every day on a stone next to the great willow tree. He thought very deep thoughts, he thought very deep thoughts. Some day, Salipha the snake came by, and she thought of some silent songs she would like to share with him. He wasn’t so thrilled so he put of his hat and threw it at Sisa the snake. Sisa had no patience so she bit him.

Silent Rain 08:20
Silent Rain, falls down gently on my silent head While the people walk by my silent bed And I watch them silently Silent Rain falls down softly on your silent skin While we talk together silently And the tears flow through your cracks and lines Oh all the places we know They stay inside Oh all the faces we show They stay inside Oh all the shapes we create They stay inside, stay inside us Silent songs are sung by the silent choirs That are heard in the distant fog Of the forest within us And these silent songs Are heard by the open hearts That belong to the ones who dare to look inside Ones who dare to uh Ones who dare to look inside, look inside, look inside Ones who dare to uh Ones who dare to ah Ones who dare to look inside, look inside, look inside

The Wolves 08:06
Come on with me into the forest I will show you a place of mine Come on hold my hand Together we are standing still Together we understand Where the world is moving to So come on with me To a place where you’ll find Find a heart that is hidden In a nest underground Where it shows and it knows How not to be found So come on with me To a place where Ill hold your hand And will show, show Show you my heart That is fragile, but protected By some friends of mine: The wolves And when you found the place of mine Where you find the heart of mine You can take the heart of yours And place it next to mine

I see a Raindrop fall in a jar of jam And it crawls and it falls And it sees if it can I see a raindrop fall in the hands of a child And it looks at it and smiles And it says to it: Look! You made my hands wet Look! You made my skin wet Look! you found a new place And now it is gone Now you are gone I see a raindrop fall in between two lips And it makes the kiss wet And they smile I see a raindrop fall on a pile of leaves And they quiver, and they shiver And it makes them sneeze I see a raindrop falling on a raindrop I see a raindrop falling on a raindrop And it changes the colors of your skin And it changes the colors of your skin And it changes the colors...

Makadabababä says the one Give me back my wonderful shoes I wear them every day I want them back to me Makamedabadü says the other Give me back my gloves I need them to paint my masterwork Makadadabedü says I, says I I don’t see the problem here You two dears Why don’t you just share?

about

This album is more than a music album for me. It is a celebration - a celebration of life, beauty and of possibility. Being able to play and sing these pieces the way I can play them now was unthinkable for me just a few years ago.

Seven years ago, motivated by physical pain while playing the cello and a lot of curiosity, I started investigating my thinking, movement and emotional patterns. I researched the relationship between my body and the cello and I discovered the instrument as a body and the body as an instrument.
In my music I try to unite these bodies and find a place where they can meet and create something even more precious together.

During this journey I did a lot of improvisation and I started writing pieces. Every piece on this album reflects a different part of my journey and therefore has its own unique world, sound and story to tell. But the pieces are not only an abstraction of my inner world. Through music, words and sound I want to show the beauty I experience around me. I want to share the beautiful complexity and the vast amount of colors that life can give to us.
